Macy's had a screaming sale this December and I bought myself a gift that I've wanted for ages- a Le Creuset-like pan by Martha Stewart. It's beautiful and red (matches my Kitchenaid!) and I was very excited to get it for only $20. When I received it, it was packaged with rubber to protect the lid from the base, and it came with lots of instructions in order to keep it safe- don't use a metal spatula, be careful banging it around, etc. 
Despite the instructions (or maybe thanks to my housekeepers), the next week it had two chips out of it. I wonder if a true Le Creuset pan would hold up better than my Martha Stewart one?
